Re-enrolment
Do I need to re-enrol?
If you intend to continue your course and study in any part of 2010 - YES you need to re-enrol.
If you are unsure of whether you will be studying in 2010 - YES you should re-enrol. This will not affect your ability to apply for a leave of absence or discontinue the course at a later date.
If you are completing your course this year - NO you do not need to re-enrol.
If you are currently on a leave of absence but will be returning to study sometime in 2010 - YES you need to re-enrol.
The Re-enrolment Period
The re-enrolment period is 26 October to 20 November 2009.
If you re-enrol during the late re-enrolment period, 21 November to 4 December (5pm), you will incur a $250 Late Re-Enrolment Fee.
If you do not re-enrol within these dates, the University will assume that you are not returning in 2010 and your enrolment will be terminated. You will then have to re-apply for your place in the course.
How do I Re-enrol?
Re-enrolment is via the Student Portal and you are required to complete the following three steps in order to be re-enrolled:
1. Indicate whether you are interested in becoming a member of a student organisation.
2. Accept the terms and conditions of re-enrolment.
3. Select subjects (online) for study in both semester 1 AND semester 2. Your subjects will either be approved online by your academic advisor, or you will be contacted within 7 days to discuss your subject selection further. If you wish to go on leave for one of these semesters, you must submit a leave of absence request to the OEP.
Where can I get subject advice?
If you are taking a stream, please contact your stream coordinator for course advice. For all other students, please contact the OEP if you wish to book an appointment to speak to an academic advisor.
